We are excited to introduce our new visual novel, Amanita Asphyxia! We are still early in the process of development. This game will be taking all the lessons we learned from Cirno’s Perfect Summer Vacation to bring you a unique visual novel experience. This was originally going to be our first visual novel, but we saw the 9 jam as a unique opportunity to gain experience making visual novels. The best way to gain experience in anything is to just make things. Even if what you create isn’t the best, you have to keep on creating to improve yourself.
Keep an eye on our website as we plan to reveal more information as the weeks go by slowly. We are looking to have this game fully released sometime next year. Until then, here’s a breakdown for the title of our game. Amanita refers to a genus of fungi that includes the world’s most deadly mushrooms. Asphyxia is a condition arising from a lack of oxygen, also known as suffocation. We cannot reveal too much right away but do want to spark your imagination with the title.
